Only 20 min from the cheapest gas station we found across 5 states and less than an hour from the only entrance to Yellowstone in the winter. The home is stylish and spacious with all the comforts you need…felt like home to us. Downtown Livingston was a short 20 min drive, and Yellowstone was a short 35-40 mins. Pioneer Saloon is 10 mins up the road, and the house had everything to stay in with a warm fireplace, movie, and cook. Wildlife was abundant- we saw bison, elk, and deer everywhere. It was incredible. The house was stocked with everything you need, and more! WiFi was great, and the host did a great job with communicating. The house was clean, and the host left special touches to make the stay comfortable and feel like home. I highly recommend, nicest home in this area hands down. It is a little bit down the unpaved road (about 10 mins), but we had a low clearance vehicle/car and zero issues. I also preferred it, because it was more secluded, and made it more peaceful and enjoyable. We didn’t know what to expect with the location, but it turned out to be a perfect way to experience MT — 20 min from small cowboy town Livingston, 45 min from Bozeman, and 45 from Yellowstone’s North gate. We drove in at night so the surroundings weren’t visible to us, and we woke up the next morning to an incredible sunrise appearing behind towering snow-capped mountains. Check-in was super easy. The house is comfortable and stylishly decorated. Host was immediately responsive and friendly. Property is very secluded yet accessible (with a bit of dirt road trekking, which wasn’t a big deal at all). It was a perfect/peaceful base camp for a memorable Montana adventure.
